Last Week…

US Equities stumbled late last week on word of potential ‘trade wars’ from Trump tariff talk on imported Steel and Aluminum.

All dropped between 1.0 – 2.0%.

  • This finally dragged the last remaining US Value benchmark into the red for 2018: Large Value -1.1% YTD
  • Mid and Small Value plunged further under water to -3.0% and -3.5% YTD respectively
  • All US Growth remains positive with Technology Sector still soaring at 7.2% YTD
  • US Equity REITS fell further by now at -10.4% YTD

All Foreign Equities suffered greater damage, falling between -2.5 and -3.0% with Emerging Markets closest to a -3.0% dive.

  • Emerging Markets remain the only Foreign stocks posting positive returns YTD, up still 2.2%

Fixed Income was all buoyed slightly except High Yield and Intermediate Term Treasuries

  • High Yield slipped just -.2%
  • Intermediate Term Treasuries dipped -.13% on the week
  • All Fixed Income is now down slightly YTD except Foreign Bonds, up 3.4%

Have a great weekend!
