Morgan Carr is the Executive Assistant to the president and CEO, Lois Carrier, at Carrier, Maurice and Webb Wealth Advisors. She supports all public relations for the firm and keeps her calendar as well as acting on Lois’s behalf when needed. She supports the firm’s dedication to financial education through scheduling and preparation of television segments and speaking engagements, tailoring them individually to meet the particular needs of each. She attends most meetings keeping records, notes and follow up items. Morgan’s flexibility and natural curiosity has allowed her to be cross-trained in the firm’s Operations and Client Care Relations for the firm.
Morgan is a fourth generation Johnson City farmer. She graduated from Daniel Boone High School. Her seven years of customer service experience in restaurants has helped her develop the skills of multitasking, social skills, flexibility and easy to get along with. She studied at Northeast State Community College where she graduated Magna Cum Laude attaining her Associates of Science degree with concentrations in Business and Speech Communication. Morgan continued her education at her mother and brother’s alma mater, East Tennessee State University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with a concentration in Real Estate. Morgan is currently interested in furthering her knowledge and is going to enroll in the CFP® program in the near future.
Morgan is very close with her family and enjoys spending time with them. From working with her father she learned “handy man” skills. Her strong work ethic and outgoing personality came from her mother. She has one brother Mitchell with whom she’s very close; he is currently serving in the United States Marines Corps. Growing up on a farm and constantly surrounded by animals, she is quite the animal lover reflected by her family of three dogs Rufus, Callie and Carson. She enjoys spending most of her time with a group of lifelong friends that share the same interests in the outdoors, hiking, camping, skiing and the occasional movie marathons. Quite an active person, she loves to travel and experience new things. She is an avid jewelry collector sharing this passion with her grandparents who sparked her interest in turquoise. Morgan is a member at Austin Springs United Methodist Church.
